1. What is the value of the J-Box services to our company?

Your company may already have some of the core features the J-Box provides, but unlike other providers, it's in one unit, billed as one cost, and supplied as one service. Once you add up the price of other services you currently use that can be replaced by the J-box, you can see where the value really shines. The ability to get all your information in one customizable place, is what makes the J-box truly unique. The great news is, as we create new services, you get them for no extra cost.

2. What areas of my business can benefit from the J-Box?

All areas of your business have the potential to benefit. Whether its Owners, Accounting (you always want to keep them happy), Operations, Management, or any other role, there is something of value for everyone. We are always open to new ideas, so if there is something you need, we are listening.

3. How can the J-Box save me money?
​
Our goal is for J-Box services to be budget neutral for the client. This can be accomplished by savings resulting from efficiencies, automation, theft prevention, potentially increased revenue from tobacco rebates, and adherence to street price changes.

4. Do we have to run the stores, or can we put the J-Box in dealer sites?
​
Any operating model is ok with us. CODO, COCO, DODO or any combination is fine. We can even help you separate the information so you can have distinct dashboards for each type.

5. Can I customize the reports?
​
Absolutely. You can customize your dashboard views and any reports, along with their distribution methods, to fit your needs. We can assist with this customization.

6. Can I have more than one login?
​
You can have as many dashboard logins as you require. You can even limit the viewable data based on job role. This means if you have a store manager that needs to see void transactions, but you do not want them to see fuel sales, you can restrict it. Likewise, you can limit District Managers to just their stores.

7. Can you really file my tobacco rebates automatically?
​
Yes. The J-Box is already capturing the data that the tobacco companies need. The data is aggregated in the appropriate format for each submission and your rebates come directly to you.

8. Do we have to use all of the J-Box service features?
​
Not at all. Use as many or as few as you would like.

9. Will you let us demo the J-Box system?
​
Absolutely. We can give you a 30-day trial of the system. Depending on the number of stores you have, we will ship you 1 – 3 units to try. There is a fee for the demo because of the work that goes into setup, but that fee is applied against the first bill if you decide to continue services.

10. How long does the J-Box take to install?
​
This depends solely on the installers, but we have designed it to take about 30 minutes a store, with no store downtime – register or fuel. While we do not install the boxes ourselves, we have partnered with a few of the major c-store installation companies for installs. You are also able to have your internal or preferred third party team complete the install. We have a toll-free support number and people standing by to help with the install process.

11. How much effort does my company have to put into onboarding?
​
We will assist with the setup of the automation and data transport to make integration as easy as possible. We will send over a couple of preliminary forms that need to be filled out. Once completed all we will need is the help of your IT staff, if you have one. If not, we will work with whomever handles your IT and internal reporting. Once all of that is done it is seamless.

12. What does your support look like?
​
A large portion of our support staff helped to develop the J-Box. They have done many installs and have written the install documentation. You’re in great hands, the staff is trained to value your time over drawn-out trouble shooting. If the box is the issue, it will be replaced or repaired very quickly.

13. How much does the box and service cost?
​
We lease the box to you, and the lease is included in the service price. This lets us replace the box if it fails at no cost to you. The service cost $160 per J-Box per month. A store only needs one J-Box. There are some discounts available depending on your store setup.

14. Are we locked into a long-term contract?
​
Using the word “locked” is kind of harsh. If you are unhappy with our services, we will work with you to find a solution that will make both parties happy. That being said, we do like to institute 3-year service level agreements (SLAs). We use this to continue to research and develop features for the J-Box and other projects. All of the terms are spelled out in the SLA. No surprises, no gotchas, no hidden fees. We pride ourselves on being as transparent as possible.

15. How do you bill?
​
Your billing period starts after install and confirmation of function of the J-Box on a per unit basis. You have a choice of paying monthly, quarterly, or yearly via ACH in advance.

16. Do we have to make modifications to the store for the temperature sensors?
​
Not at all. The sensors are wireless and very easy to install. The battery is user changeable and will last 5 to 8 years.

17. How much do the temperature sensors cost and how many can I have per store?
​
$25 per sensor, and you can have up to 25 per store.
​
18. What is the purpose of the one touch scanner?
​
The one touch scanner helps to minimize delays and frustration resulting from data that can’t be polled. This scanned data gets transmitted with all of the other data the J-Box captures and is place conveniently in its specified location - designated by you.

19. How much do the scanners cost?
​
One time hardware cost of $600 and you own the scanner.

20. What other companies use the J-Box services?
​
We have a "no sale/no share" policy for our clients and their data. It's in our SLA. But we can share some of their testimonials with you (they gave us permission).
